When she's not being praised for her hairstyle, New York City comedian
Claudia Cogan is being called a "hilarious up-and-comer" by Time Out
New York and an "acerbic wit" by The New York Post. It's in print and
can't be undone.
This winter, Claudia was nominated for an ECNY Award by a panel of
industry and comedy fans for "Best Female Stand Up." In January,
Claudia won the first ever Time Out New York Joke of the Year.
If you're observant, you may have seen her at Caroline's, The Improv,
and Stand Up New York in New York, MBar and UCB Theatre in LA, and the
DC Comedy Festival. Fans of satellite radio may have experienced the
invigorating joy that is Claudia's voice on Sirius' Raw Dog Comedy
network and on the Derek and Romaine Show.
Her work has appeared on collegehumor.com and bestweekever.tv and she
authors her own blog, getthefoutofhere.blogspot.com, which has been
spotlighted by Gawker.com and MSNBC.com for decency. Her grasp of the
Internet has gotten her into trouble at most jobs but has proven to be
an asset at her current position, writer for BiggCo.com, a mock website
created in support of a new sitcom video game to be released later
this year.

Well, there was a rant here about sexism that I could leave here to remind myself not to update my page at 3 in the morning. But I’ve learned my lesson. Sexism is still a problem, though. Am I right ladies? Make some noise - other than PMS sobs!
