In 2007, Angela Bermuda and Jack Mannix formed their crude rock duo, Circle Pit, in Sydney, Australia.
Their debut album, Bruise Constellation, featured guitar, drums, and vocals recorded in the red, along with sleazy, street-smart lyrics. That sound matched the mindset of Philadelphia's Siltbreeze Records perfectly, and Circle Pit joined the label's roster for a stateside release in 2010. Soon after, Circle Pit made plans to tour as a five-piece with Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Pink Reason. ~ Jason Lymangrover
