Hammy's Secret Life - 2007 - Christine Bougie
______"Known primarily for her guitar and lap steel prowess, Toronto's Christine Bougie bridges genre gaps on this delightfully inventive record" - EXCLAIM!_________________

"There's a long history of hired musicians who are as good, if not better, than their bosses, and Christine Bougie, Amy Millan's go-to-gal for everything lap steel, is part of this important group. Her debut disc, Hammy's Secret Life, is a delicate instrumental album filled with flawless slide guitar, jazzy melodies and enough variety to make you forget that there's no one singing." -NOW magazine (NNNN)_________________

Think From the End
HEY CHRISTINE, Thanks for being our friend. Here's some info about us...
We've revamped our page with a new side banner and SIX New Songs. These songs will be on our new record out in September.
If you havn't checked out our photos of our last show, you should because they're snazzy.
Oh, and we've updated our studio journal once again. Tonnes more progress on our album has been made. Just mastering and then manufacturing. It'll be done at the end of the month.
I really enjoyed your music behind the latest Hootenanny 2008 show at Dakota, and made a point of telling you so after the show. IIt was nice meeting you.
Here are a couple links to photos and video clips from that night...
I've heard you with Greg Hobbs at Fred's Aylmer picnic. Nice to have a good listen on a rainy Sunday afternoon and I heard on one song shades of Frank Zappa who was not listed as an influence. I like your music very much. Peter
Thanks Christine... I like your music, too... Have a great recording session with Daffyd... I'm looking forward to hearing how it turns out. Thanks again...SK
