I grew up in the Tampa Bay area, went to art school in Baltimore, got sucked into city life for 12 years. I suckered my husband into moving to Florida in 2005, during hurricane season for another museum job. Now that we live in Dunedin, I think my husband, the dog and the cat are finally convinced that this is a nice a place after all, though the crabcakes are just no good unless they come from Maryland's eastern shore. Now I manage the permanent collections and exhibitions for the Gulf Coast Museum of Art in Largo. My art installation crew tells me I am the meanest boss ever and I stomp around like a tyrant...they joke. I have also been told that at first meeting people often wonder what my problem is...am I being super nice or am I just a bit slow. I'm also an artist, printmaker, I love music of all kinds and people of all kinds. Life is good.
