This video was created by Chris Singer from Lansing, MI. He recently visited this school in Uganda. The photos in the video are from his trip. They are taken of children who have been ophaned by the AIDS Epidemic in Africa. These are a few of millions. The song in this video is called "Live True". It is track 5 on my new album To Begin Again. I am honored to share this song with Chris, who dedicates his life to this badly needed work. Chris Dorman, from Lansing, is a musician, a father, and a friend to the community. His songs are gentle, honest and strong. He writes about his friends, his family and his feelings and reflects upon the intrinsic value within a local culture that cannot be quantified or commoditized. He hopes his sounds will nurture and inspire all who hear them to appreciate that which is unique to them. So what is unique to him, you ask? Chris dreams of being an old man who tells funny stories over and over again even though he knows everybody already knows the punch line.

I'm doing very well thank you and it seems like you're in a good place too! I haven't seen you in a very long time, I'll make it a priority to see one of your shows soon.
Doing well. A bit crazed from all the time working on the studio/in the studio but very happy. The space is already functional and should be put together in 100% in a few weeks.
Hi Chris, I work as a wildlife biologist for the Hiawatha National Forest. I like being outdoors a great deal.
Yeah, I know them, but not well. I have a couple good mutual friends with them. I have been in Munising for the last 3 years only, growing up in Moran (100 people) in the eastern U.P. I hope you are doing well.
Hey Chris! It was really great meeting you guys at Family Weekend. I will be around those days that you'll be up here. I think I gave you my yoga card... if not, Michelle has my digits, so gimme a call! Hope to see you then!
I would love to come over Chris! Just not sure when it can happen. BUT I will for sure come and see you while you are up north, that sounds super fun! Oh--and your CD is a wonderful addition to my life! I very much appreciate your lyrics and the music is so absolutely beautiful and sweet. I would imagine I can thank you, Corie and Henry for that ;) See you soon!
Hi Chris! Just stopping by to say hello. It was wonderful to see you the other weekend at the Opera House. I went from tearful to joyful in a matter of minutes because of you. Guess what, I just ordered your CD! Can't wait to get it. Much love to you and your sweet family.
I miss you as well, friend. Only a couple months until I'm back in Michigan, though. I'm enjoying Oklahoma for now, but looking forward to going back. :)
