About me: Check out these vids from Party Gras! Truffle at their best!
ChickenJam 7 was a blast this year again-it just may have been the best! Another long afternoon in Coffeetown.
Northern Roots kicked off about 2. These guys are solid. We had Mike Tero on guitar and vocals, Sean Yadisernia on guitar and vocals, Keith Foley on bass and Rob Kneeland on drums. Scroll down and check out the video from the party.
At about 4 pm our house band Hoof started rocking. The core group is Dave Marshall (guitar, vocals), Al Pratt (guitar, vocals, some bass), Andy Olmsted (bass, vocals), Chuck Farrell on guitar and Patrick McNeil on drums. This year they were also joined by Rob Nelson on guitar and vocals. They managed to get Rob Kneeland up on stage for extra drumming. Todd Jones showed up and jammed out some Big Chicken tunes with them.
As it got dark, we also enjoyed the light show magic from the State Prison Light Show. Using retro effects (projectors, etc), they helped bring the event to another level.
As the night went on, we experienced a never-seen-before combo: Sean, Dave M, Chuck, and Keith were joined by Dave Gerard for an all-star jam! Very sweet.
The electric playing went till about 9:30, after which the acoustic, unplugged playing took over. I went to bed around 1:30 am and it was still going (thanks Danine!).

Hey! Thanks a bunch for coming out to Barley Pub and taping, they came out quite well, I think. I'll probably end up copying and pasting them into my profile. Let me know if you post any more!
hot day at the zoo So first off we would like to thank everyone who has been voting for us in the Jambands.com poll for "Which band would youi like to see added to Bonaroo?" We are sitting pretty at #4 right now with our eyes fixed on the #3 spot!
And may we just say that we are so psyched to see so many loyal fans coming together in support of this music. Just think... if we do get added to Bonaroo we can probably quit our day jobs and tour full-time... woundn't that be something!
So don't forget to check out the live review of our 4 year anniversary show which took place at the Courtyard in Lowell, MA on 1/20/07. It's located right below the poll to the left.
We would like to take this time to thank Jambands.com and and Chad Berndtson for their support! And last but not least: DON"T FORGET TO VOTE!!!!
Peace,
HDATZ
