OH YEAH, HERE'S SOME INFO ABOUT ME: In January 2006, I ended an amazing 12-year touring career as lead guitarist for mega-duo Brooks & Dunn. My last gig with the guys was opening for the Stones in Omaha! I now focus on hanging out at the house with my wife and kids, co-writing songs on Music Row, and recording instrumental guitar compositions in my home studio.
After years of playing clubs in my hometown of Lexington, Kentucky, I moved to Nashville in 1991 to pursue a songwriting career. Instead, I landed a gig as lead guitarist and bandleader for Atlantic recording artist (and fellow Kentuckian) John Michael Montgomery.
My songwriting credits include:
"Chicks Dig It," a Top 5 single for Capitol recording artist Chris Cagle; also,
"Caroline" and "See Jane Dance," album cuts for Arista recording artists Brooks & Dunn.
TRIVIA:
Lead guitarist for the fictional band RUCKUS in the movie "Elizabethtown," starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst.
