"When you come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen: there will be something solid to stand on, or you will be taught how to fly."
See blog. We sing,"Abraham's blessings are mine". Joshua 17:14-15 "Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee to the wood country, ....if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee." Joshua challenged the people. Act great if you are great. We,heirs with Christ are great and have so much power but we do not use it. The church need people with the spirit of the children of Joseph who have a witness in their spirit that there is more and greater stuff in store to speak up. If we are believing God for a house, why settle for the apt? Joshua is sending them, into the land of the Perizites and the giants. Tell me why they would want to go and stir up trouble in the enemies camp by trying to acquire more? Why not stay on the mountain with the little and keep dancing? Vs16-17 "And the children of Joseph said, The HILL is NOT ENOUGH for us: .....the VALLEY have chariots of iron, they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they...of the valley of Jezreel." The enemy is strongest in the valley and know that the (We)Israelites are weakest in the valley. We do not pray in the valley, we do not worship and find it harder to study the word in the valley. The valley is NECCESARY! Most of us fall when we are in the valley but the God of the mountain is the same God of the valley and even in the valley He is still ABLE to keep us from falling. It is in the valley that we ought to worship, pray and feed on the word which is our daily bread. The way to our blessing is via the valley. Although you have the car, it is not enough. You have the bus company, get a travel service and not just a link piggy backing off of cheapTickets. com. The hill is the house, a car, some cash, some Gucci clothing but it ain't the mountain! When we get to the mountain, we'll be looking down on everyone looking up atus in disbelief wondering how we got there. "I must go through the valley, to stand upon the mountain of God. " Stop being satisfied
