Hello mates! I'm certainly not going talk about myself in third person and be like, "Chad Overman this and Chad Overman that", so with that in mind, here's the real deal. I'm a singer/songwriter and I love making music! That's almost all there is to it. Here's the rest of it...
As most of you all know, I just finished recording my debut album "Sunday Man" and I am soo excited to get it out there and share it with everyone. (It's on itunes, independentbands.com and more if you'd like to buy it) I spent a little over a year working on the album and I can't tell you how much fun it was working with Mack Damon. This guy is one of my dear friends and probably the most multi-talented person I know (4 Grammy nominations btw and certainly more to come!) Swing by his site and show him some love if you get the chance. :^) All the musicians that you see on the left of my page and hear on the cd are just as INCREDIBLE and should be merited for their uber-stellar skills! So that's the cd...
and here's a little on me...
I MAKE DECISIONS, that's what I do. I wake up in the morning and it begins...what to wear? what to eat? where to go? (hopefully to work) when to freak out? (*(j3jlkjouy3oljnlk3jojl. See, I just made that decision right now. Then there's the bigger decisions... who to love? what to write about? who I am? why I am? how I am? etc. All of these decisions make me who I am and probably make you who you are. The biggest decision that I made was three years ago when I gave up my life. I don't mean that I killed myself, obviously, and I'm not trying to be DJ Downer here. I actually gave my past, present and future to God and asked Him to use the rest of my life for something meaningful and worthwhile. I think I had mentioned a few things to the air before but I never thought any one actually heard me until that moment. I literally called out for Jesus Christ to come and fix me. The "repairing" process has definitely been nothing short of a Journey and I'm grateful for every moment of it. He's given me song after song and I would love nothing more than to share them with you all. I just want you all to know where it comes from so you don't get the wrong idea. That's all folks.
