My name is John Cooper. I run Cerysmatic Factory, the unofficial blog, history and archive about Factory Records, the independent record label from Manchester, England (see above clickable banner link for the latest). The site would not have become as popular as it without the help of many people, some of whom have become my friends (and some of those are now my Friends). I have also designed (or redesigned) websites for John Metcalfe, The Duke Quartet and Kooky Records. As if that wasn't enough I also published 4 issues of the Manchester fanzine Scream City (the latest one is on sale on eBay).
Who I'd like to meet: Gerry Francis, Jerry Seinfeld, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Sarah Cracknell, Alex Cox, Philip Glass, Brian Eno, David Lynch, Mick Jones, Alan Erasmus, Ed Templeton, Lawrence Weiner.
Hi & thanks for adding my music on your page. I've grown up with Factory records... one of the most innovative labels around at the time. GREAT music and unique graphics: I encourage everyone to find the original vinyls. Greetings fron Venice, Italy a.m. (unfolk projects)

Hello John, Thanks for the Scream City that I received at work yesterday. Its a damn fine read and listen. I've sent you a message re: a blog I posted on my page shortly after TW's funeral back in August, prompted by DavidNolanWriter(TM)'s article. If you think you could use it in the next SC then please do so. Steve ov Salford.
Was great to see you, Amy and the Fac Army again last night mate. Had a top time. Poster and photos are looking good. Let me know when you've edited the interview mate and we'll sort out a date to put it on the show. Long live Cerysmatic.......
Thank you for all you do and your sweet thoughts......turning 40 hopefully will be easier for you than it was for me this past week....basically I had very exciting and fun parties and people treated me to alot of fun, then I crashed and the depression sunk in and it's still going! I'm hoping it will pass. It is really really difficult to accept.......but by the time I see you on March 21 I should be in a great mood!
