About me:

We are a small, family-run chinchilla/small animal rescue. We also breed on a hobby level to try and balance the costs of running a rescue. We are located in Ridgeland, MS (which is right outside of Jackson, MS). We will foster or adopt any chinchillas that you cannot care for. A lot of people will purchase chinchillas without doing the proper research, and find that they do not have the time to provide the love and care a chinchilla needs. If you need a home for your chinchilla, please feel free to contact me. Since we are a small organization, we ask that, along with your chinchilla, you donate his/her cage and supplies. Since chinchillas have very different and distinct personalities, sometimes it takes time to introduce them to other chinchillas. Sometimes they cannot be placed with other chinchillas at all. I will gurantee, that your chinchilla will be placed in a loving home, and with people who have the time to invest in his/her happiness!
Please feel free to contact me via myspace or our website:

If you are interested in adopting a chinchilla, check the website to see who we have available for adoption.
Who I'd like to meet: People who love chinchillas or those who need to re-home their chinchilla.
Thank ya honey!! We are in Hunysville Al. Stressed but the chinnies are happy with this cold a/c!! Our home is ok too, I hear we are out of power for now, it "only" took us 13 hours to get here yesterday and we didn't goto sleep till about 4, so I'm going back to sleep hoping the ride home will not be as long!! Thanx again!! XOXOXOXO
Awww! A whole room for the chinchillas! That's sweet! What does your husband & kids think about this "Chinchilla Rescue" you have going on? Do your kid's love Petie?
Haha, yeah, I heard something about female chinchilla's spraying their own urine when they feel threatened or scared! I also read that a female can spray up to 10 feet?! Wow. If that's true, then I don't know if I ever want to get a girlfriend for my Charlie!! Hahaa. Aww, I can't wait to see more pictures of your soon-to-be new babygirl chinchilla! What are you going to name her? I had already planned that when I get a girl chinchilla, that I'm going to name her Priscilla.

It rhymes!
"Priscilla the Chinchilla"

Haha, cute, huh?
Anyway... I'm sure Petie will be very happy with a new friend around!
Hi! Thank you so much for the advice and the website! It was very very helpful! You're the best! Oh, and your new babygirl chinchilla that is going to live with you on September 30th is soooooo cute! Where are you getting her from???
I wish that my chinchilla would come by his name! I don't think he even knows his name! Haha. Or maybe he just acts like he doesn't hear me... haha. How often do you give Petie raisins?? I give Charlie a raisin every three days, just to be safe. He acts funny if I give him too much treats in a week. It almost seems like he's having a seizure sometimes... it scares the crap out of me everytime he acts like that. So now, I've narrowed down his treats to every three days.
Awww, how long have you had Petie and how old is he?? I got Charlie last month on July 5th! Poor little guy, when I brought him home, he was so shy and scared! Now, in only a month's time, he's gotten a little more used to everyone in the house! He's such a good boy, I love him so much! ♥
