CARRYL is a diverse and versitile performer based in London.
Having completed her education Carryl pursued her dream for the arts and headed for Drama schoool, completing a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre...
Upon graduation from MOUNTVIEW, Carryl made her professional debut in the Royal National
Theatre production of MY FAIR LADY, directed by Trevor Nunn, which subsequently transferred
to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and won the OLIVIER AWARD for BEST MUSICAL in 2002.
Carryl also played the lead role of Eve in the new musical WHITE FOLKS at the Pleasance Theatre. She then understudied 'Billie' in the Madness musical, OUR HOUSE in the West End. OUR HOUSE won BEST MUSICAL at the OLIVIER AWARDS in 2003.
Carryl made a smooth transition from Musical Theatre to Television when she joined Channel 5's original soap 'FAMILY AFFAIRS' as troubled teen 'Kelly Boulter' for two years, where she recieved nominations for THE BRITISH SOAP AWARDS 2005 (SEXIEST FEMALE) and THE 'International' SCREEN NATION AWARDS 2005 (BEST NEWCOMER). Other apperances include 'HOLBY CITY' a 'MICROSOFT' commercial 'ROYAL VARIETY SHOWS' and the voice of 'EM' in the Animation 'BUS STOP'
Continuing to try it all Carryl has found a real passion for performing and is also playing around with choreography, writing, directing and producing...
She is currently filming 'SARAH JANE ADVENTURES' for DOCTOR WHO PRODUCTIONS due to air Autumn 2008. She is also about to take on the role of KEISHA in the World Premiere No.1 Tour of 'FLASHDANCE' The Musical
