Who I'd like to meet: The Carroll County Market will be a community based business featuring products that are locally made, acquired (or bartered) for. "Local" in this case means as local as possible. We are hoping to find local growers to provide fruits and vegetables in season, arts and crafts people who make suitably functional items for use in the home, business or personal life. A portion of the market will hold a small but wide range of reading materials in concert with Turnrow Books. Some selected "fun"ctional antiques and pieces will be for sale as well as the occasional fine recycled clothing. A fountain drink and ice cream-frozen yogurt bar is readily available. And Field Kitchen cooks Gregor Jones and Mr Sippy plan to put on provide monthly-weekly catered home style "come as you are" meals that not only taste great but make you feel good. Lastly but not leastly, the Carroll County Market will feature live performance art, music on a stage and maybe a little art house movie that you can't find out there on the big screen.
Sound fun? Come join us and it will be. It's all about community and we hope to be your new friend, we can chew the fat (don't swallow it all) share thoughts and ideas or concerns. If you've not been to Carrollton or Carroll County, you need to come.

Hey Guys, We had a great time Friday night. Kingbilly rocked and the food was outstanding! Always worth the trip from Tuscaloosa to CCM. We were able to see a lot of our friends from Grenada and that made it even better. We hope to see you again soon!!

We had the best time at your place Saturday night. The food, atmosphere, and all the lovely (new) friends we made, just fantastic!!! The Freighthoppers were awesome!!! Thanks for the ADD - Yall are great!!!
