I love photography and the way it makes me look at things from a new and different perspective ALWAYS.
I enjoy live music, my favorite being in my living room with a group of close friends around me.
I love being a mother and the day to day challenges of making the sun rise and fall for my family.
I really am happiest when I am relishing in good thoughtful conversation that provokes me to- think, learn, and grow.
I love learning about indigenous cultures and peoples of the past. How they lived, what they thought, what foods they ate, how they worshiped, the accomplishments they made, not to mention the impact on today's modern world (whether some choose to acknowledge it or not).
Music
My love for music originally began as a small child in my fathers living room where he would take just about any song and make it live as though it were its own entity.
If I had to nail down a favorite sound I would say anyone who can pick up an old 6 string acoustic and make it breath effortlessly. People like Jack Johnson, Phil Oches, John Prine, Dave Matthews, Ben Harper etc. etc.... You get the picture right? Although I can appreciate almost anything at almost any time
Movies
If I had to choose a favorite I would have to go with What Dreams May Come. There are so many layers and you really have to open your mind. But I really have an eclectic range as far as the movies I enjoy I love the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. And all the Kevin Smith flicks Dogma being at the top of the list. Still you have to appreciate old classics like....Goonies, Princess Bride, and Stand By Me
The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.
I am 30 yrs old. I have been married to my husband Steve for 13yrs. Steve and I have four children ages 9, 7, 3, & 22mos. ~Corey, Ivy, Samantha, and Maura (in age order). I really enjoy being a mother. My children continue to teach me on a daily basis. I do have to admit however sometimes I wish there were at least three of me!!!!!!!
I also am the president/co-founder of a locally based non-profit organization called Clean Our Canyons. Our Mission: Clean our environment, educate our youth, and promote community involvement.
In addition to regularly scheduled clean ups we also go to local schools and programs and give presentations to adolescents to try and help them realize the impact of littering and illegal dumping. For more information please visit our myspace site by following the link below.
