| Bio | CKC. Lives in NYC. Been on TV. VH1, MTV2, MTVU, Nick-at-Nite, ABC World News and heard on Sirius Satellite Radio. I’ll give you a chub at the club: Comix, Caroline’s, Gotham, Comic Strip Live!, Laugh Factory, The Improv, Laugh Lounge, Stand Up New York and the Comedy Cafe in Amsterdam.
I was a regional finalist in the Funniest Mom in America 3 Contest - I’ve been interviewed by the Village Voice and Gothamist. One of my bits was the Joke of the Week in Time Out New York.
I got nothin’ but love for my peeps "downtown." I roll at Ars Nova, PS 122, Mo Pitkin’s, RiFiFi, Galapagos, D-Lounge, Ace of Clubs, The Tank, Bowery Poetry Club, UCB, Magnet Theatre and The PIT. Once I performed in "the world’s most beautiful traveling venue," Spiegeltent. More like Sweet-el-tent!
I co-produce and host a rad all-girl jam called Chicks and Giggles which has been featured in the New Yorker, New York Times and BUST Magazine and I emcee the monthly variety show Poetry vs. Comedy, also featured in the New Yorker.
B-L-O-G. What’s that spell? Bullshit. But still, it’s fun. I just got a gig writing for The Huffington Post and my baby blog, Adriana’s Mom, is a favorite of the editorial staff at Redbook. I also crack wise about celebs who are way thinner than me in Life & Style magazine and I have a line or two in The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Jokes by Larry Getlen.
I’m in a few museums, too, which is awesome and crazy. Check me in PERFORM at the Museum of the City of New York and The International Museum of Women. (I’m a girl.)
I have a great time when I do sketches for The Post Show on SuperDeluxe.com and podcasts for VH1’s Best Night Ever on BestWeekEver.tv. |
