A new project built around the nucleus of long-standing collaborators Andy Shortland (guitar) and Matt Moreton (vocals), and featuring old friends James Hartley (bass and production) and Andy Lymn (drums and amusing stories!), Carbon Soul attempt to take a fresh look at the rock/metal genre. Their first album, DYING DAYS, is set to be released in 2008.

Just a quick announcement that Simon from FALSE MARIA and Ben from the Phonics will be starting the Acoustic only open mike night at the Volo July 3rd everybody welcome...should be a good night....we will be using Bens state of the art Bose L1 Model II System which if you havnt heard it before is absolutely stunning...even makes us sound good...kick off round 8.30-9.00
