I generally find disclaimers on profiles and personal websites childish, pretentious and a waste of bandwidth, but there is already so much pandering going on between the pages of this site I figure it won't make much of a difference:
This profile is not at all representative of who I am. I first joined MySpace only to have a look and help a friend with a background coding problem. Since then I've added and detracted to this page mostly between the hours of 1am and 4am, especially when I'm feeling particularly kittenish (that is, easily distracted by shiny things). I mention this now only because it occurred to me the other night as I was surfing through various profile-oriented sites loaded with conceited, desperate scenester wannabes, spoilt emo brats and creepy, middle-aged stalkers, that if I were to come across this, I would probably write myself off immediately just as I dismiss so many others.
To think a person can be boiled down to one page on a glorified internet dating service is ridiculous. It's a pity that's how so many of us judge and are judged.

RANDOM FACTS
Yes, they really are random.
- I make belts from starburst wrappers. I have two.
- I was born in Neptune. Neptune, NJ that is.
- I can't solve a rubix cube puzzle.
- Awesome is my favorite adjective. Bloody comes in a very close second.
- I think Quiet Riot's remake of 'Cum on Feel the Noize' beats Oasis's any day.
- My laptop's name is Blake.
- I prefer Caribou to Starbucks, Borders to Barnes and Noble, and 3am to 3pm.
- I drink black tea plain but coffee only with cream and sugar.
- I find Tomb Raider trance-pop really amusing.
- I like Ramune candy and Pocky.
- I love stiletto heels and can walk in them too.
- I don't have a favorite color but my favorite combination is black/red.
- I hate the cold. Profusely. Don't you bloody dare make jokes about cuddling.
- I am a sushi ninja.
- I really enjoy polka dots.
- I like doing delicate, detailed work. Focusing on little things helps take the big things off my mind. At least for a little while.
- Philosophically, I am a post-modern existentialist with Buddhist leanings.
- I love post-it notes.
- I make it a point to type in correct English on IM. This means I PWN j00 at typing.
