If CALLING ALL MONSTERS were...
A Movie, they would be Raiders Of The Lost Ark

A Horse, they would be John Henry
or if you went to school with them, they would sit behind you.

+ OLD SCHOOL USED IN A LITERAL SENSE:
If Dave Gedge was neighbors with Jason Loewenstein and they got together to watch 'Paris, Texas' on a 29" colour television borrowed from Mark E. Smith who swiped it from a nite club in South Beach Miami while participating in 'Celebrity Fear Factor' (where all proceeds would go towards the "Save The Aircraft of W.W.II foundation) and if you thought Joe Strummer would be fun to order a pizza with and dove into a swimming pool with your 'The Empire Strikes Back' shirt on, I guess that is what CALLING ALL MONSTERS would sound like.
Or not.
Let's meet up around 8 and talk.
even though Confusion Hill proved to be an incredible stop on our tour because of its oddly friendly squirrels and amazing anti-climatic claims...I would say putting one more quarter (dollar) in the jukebox for you Matthew to hear "Hunger Strike" was an even fonder memory...thanks for the great time and your great music...
...Corn-pop, corn-pop, corn-pop, corn-pop. You guys were wicked sick on saturday. Hadn't seen you fools since Halloween '06 when we played that awful Misfits cover set. RADICAL.
What's up, what's up? The Calling All Monsters singer, Matthew Troy (aka Scientific) and DJ Sugar Smallhouse (aka me) will spin records at Dalva THIS FRIDAY night. We like to call it "Funky See, Funky Do"...isn't that cute?
Damn, Matthew...I can't believe we're still rockin' it after all these drinks.
Check out my page for more DJ Sugar Smallhouse gigs.
