Premier Plymouth death metal band formed in 1990 by John Rathbone and Martin Grant, taking on various line-up changes that peaked in 1993 with the release of the `Profane Shadows` cassette demo (not to be dismissed as anything but a classic), influenced by US death metal bands such as Death and Deicide, Sweedish grindcore bands such as Dismember and Entombed, and British horrible stuff like Napalm Death and Carcass, this band were (despite lack of recognition) top of their game.
This page is just being put together as this much forgotten band deserves to have it`s music available to the sick. If anyone has any photos, artwork (even the demo cover) then send them to me, all I have is one photo of me and bob not looking particularly metal. I`ll get a couple more tracks up soon (unfortunately due to Rathbones insane writing and arrangements the other 2 recorded songs are too large a file to put onto myspace, don`t do drugs kids) but this is to get the ball rolling. Any contributions appreciated.
