Busted Onions
have been developing a loyal following in and around inner city Melbourne over the last 3 years.
Melbourne town gets up and boogies with the Busted Onions as they inspire audiences with their unique live blend of energetic rhythm and blues, pop, roots and soul music. Their debut album ‘Little Bit Of Soul’ highly reflects this variety of influences that are taken, shaken and stirred by the Onions’ experienced and soulful players. Along with special guests, the band produce a smooth and funk laden show with flowing rhythms, sticky grooves and soulful sounds. The Busted Onions played NYE ’07-’08 at The Falls Festival to a massive reception, winning the hearts and minds of the hip shaking, arm waving, raucous, late night Falls crowd … sound riotous? It was!
Now come and enjoy Busted Onions, playing real and rootsy original soul music.
The Onions are the brothers Rodd, Tom (bass), Matt (lead guitar and vocals ) and Jim (vocals and percussion ) with Matt Baulch ( flute and saxophone), Nick Adams (drums) and Jim Mead (vocals, harp and acoustic guitar) completing the line up.
