    Bunker's Interests
GeneralLikes: I love treats of any kind, to chew the squeakers out of toys, to tear the stuffing out of my bed, to go for walks, play tug of war, train with Sam the dog trainer, ride of Marty’s custom golf cart, lay in my bed at night, chew on big rawhide bones, belly rubs from Roger, nipping at Raquel, following Tammy around the house, and laying out in the sun and smelling the fresh air, playing with Promise and Buddy, getting my photo taken, flying on airplanes, and running through the house as fast as I can. Dislikes: Power tools, people who don’t like dogs…what is with that!!!!!…, anyone staring at me and not petting me, dogs that won’t play, waiting for food, getting too close to cacti…ouch that hurts!!!!…people not paying attention to me. I am the only star in the house..it is all about me! Hobbies: Walking, jogging, scratching, shaking, yawning, tricks, barking, whining, eating, sleeping, running in circles and the occasional jumping straight up in the air.

About me:
I was born with my brothers and sisters in Georgia on June 6, 2006. Scary…my owners say that is why I have an alter ego (whose name is Carl) because I was born 6-6-06. Whenever I misbehave they call me Carl…. I think it is funny, so I misbehave or give them the “look” sometimes…… Anyway I remember Seth coming and picking me up and taking me from the airport when I was only 8 weeks old. It was a fun trip, I was a little scared at first because all these people kept coming up and wanting to pet me, but Roger watched over me. I remember him calling home to tell my new owner Tammy, who was worried about me, not to worry that he had me and that “I am a real babe magnet…” I did not know what that meant then, but now I do, and I have to admit I am a babe magnet, but Tammy says I am a real “guy magnet” too! I flew back to Arizona under Roger’s seat. He was pretty tired since he flew up to get me in one day and then back the same night. So I slept the way, and he kept me next to his feet, and it made me feel safe. Then we landed and Roger’s wife Raquel picked us up. We drove and I did not know where we were going. I had a nervous stomach and I really stunk up the car…Sorry Roger and Raquel. Then we stopped at a store parking lot, and we got out and just hung out. I got to stetch my legs and it felt good. Then another car came and a lady got out. She had this huge smile and was so excited and came at me…(she was kinda freaky), and it was Tammy, my new guardian. (I call her my guardian angel) She picked me up and just kept gushing over me…it was pretty embarrassing, but after getting to know her I am used to it now. She kept hugging her son, Roger and telling him thanks over and over. They gave each other a BIG hug (like she does with him all the time…she loves her boys..all of them) and then she put me in her car. She held me on her lap, and talked to me all the way to my new home. My new home had everything ready for me, a new bed, a crate and verything. She said I was the very best puppy ever and that I never made a sound all night long, and ever since then I never whined at night. I love my crate, she always turns on the music for me. It is a little sappy, I’d rather listen to rock n roll, but everytime Marty suggests it, Tammy said that I need soothing music to sleep by…whatever. So about Marty…I could tell he never really was too cool about animals, but I am no ordinary dog. I must admit, I act a little like a human sometimes. It kind of freaked him at first, then before you knew it I had won him over. He and Roger had gotten me for Tammy because she was diagnosed with MS last October, and the whole family was pretty sad. So I did my best to cheer everyone up, and it seems to have worked!!!!! Tammy is crazy though. Ever since the first week I got there she takes me on a walk every morning and night. We go either walking or jogging 4 miles in the morning and then another 4 at night, and on Saturday’s when most pooches get to lay around, she takes me hiking up in DC Ranch where the mountains are for about 2-3 hours. I try and pretend to be sleeping when she comes in at 4:30am, but she makes me get up anyway. She even makes Marty go, and it is so dark we have to take a flashlight to see. I know it helps her to exercise with her MS, and she said having me has helped her stay motivated to exercise, but give me a break lady…my poor paws have callouses all over them, and I will never need my nails trimmed again! I must admit, when I check out myself in the mirror though, I am quite “buff!” So I guess it is okay, hope she never tries to get me to do those stupid exercise tapes she has Marty doing. He has to be so embarrassed…I think he should loose “his man card.” He really loves her though, and he knows it helps her MS to keep her active. I hope I find someone that I can love like the two of them love each other, it is kind of gross sometimes they are so lovey dovey, but it is cool too. So then Tammy took me one weekend to this contest for America’s Cutest Puppy becasue a cashier at Petco had told her about it and that she should enter me. Tammy can’t always do things like this because it is hard for her with MS when she is alone. But she did it and took me there. Oh my gosh, there were puppies everywhere. Most were running around, but Tammy would hardly put me down. She carried me around for almost 12 hours that day. This was one of 10 regional contests for WE TV, and I can’t tell you how I did, except I did good. They will air each regional contest, along with the finale. The TV show starts April 7th for 11 weeks, with the finale in June. Be sure to vote for me on this website to be a winner. Tammy and Marty are having a BIG party for the finale. I have been all over the place, they take me everywhere. I went to Las Vegas for Raquel’s 21st birthday. That was so much fun. Bunker in Vegas!!!!!! We had a 1200 sq ft suite at Mandalay Bay. I get to come because I am being trained as a service dog.I ran around and had fun and stayed up late, and of course it did not matter how late I stayed up…I still had to go for a walk the next morning. Speaking of training, after the contest was over Tammy found a trainer for me. He is one of my best friends….he is so much fun, a little irritating sometimes with the whole “leave it” thing…but I get so excited whenever he comes over. His name is Sam. Go to samthedogtrainer.com to find out more (see link). He has me doing all kind of neat things. I like it because I can show off now, and I love showiong off to everyone! Sam gets a little freaked out if I am tired or if I get a scratch on my face or anything….geeze Sam…I am a dog you know!!!! But he is cool, and Tammy said he is over protective like she is. I go to the office now every day with Marty and Tammy. It is really neat because Roger and Raquel work there too. I get to stay with them sometimes and my German step-cousins live there…Buddy and Promise (They are German Sheppards) I get to play with Buddy a lot. Promise is grouchy and I think I bug him, which amuses me. I met Danny and Karlee, that is Tammy and Marty’s other son and daughter in law. They are so cool, they have two dogs too and just moved back. Grandma Shirley comes over a lot too, she is totally awesome and can that woman PARTY, she can play poker until the wee hours of the night…I try to stay up…but I always conk out before she leaves. And Lynn..she wants a dog, but freaks out when I lick her toes. What is up with that? Marty and Tammy love their family and they love me. It is awesome. They have parties for family and friends all the time and I get to run around and everyone ooos and ahhhs over me. Tammy hardly let’s me out of her sight, and I don’t really mind…I figure it just keeps her from smoothering her other family memebers as much…wow, can she give out the LOVE….That lady has a lot of it. Marty, he is the best, he is so funny. He spoils me a lot and he lets me just lie around while he watches ESPN. He talks to me a lot too when he thinks no one else is listening…kinda corny…but he is a keeper. I am now 8 months old and have been to Vegas, Hollywood, Palm Springs, and going to San Diego next month to Oliver’s engagaement party..whoever Oliver is??? I heard Tammy and Marty say he is David and Paula’s son. Those are their friends and also partners, and they think the Rosen’s are cool…so whatever…I guess I have to like them too. David owns a company in NY, and one day I hope to be filming in his offices and have my own dressing room and name on my door…. Tammy is taking me to the MS Walk in April out here. It is in April 14th and she wants to raise a lot of money to fight it…I want to help her. I know MS sucks, and I watch her and her family struggle with MS. Tammy said I that I am a little blessing sent by God to her and the family to help put a smile on their face, and that I can help others with MS by being a mascot for MS. So that is what I will do, I am SOOOOO cute. Can anyone resist my charm…I think not! Well gotta go, Tammy is baking cookies (everyone knows she makes the best, just ask Del one of their best friends…he pigs out on them when he comes to their house)…and she will soon be selling them on TammysWhammys.com. This has been her dream for a long time, and she will give part of the money to MS. She is even baking cookies for Dogs now… So be sure to write me a note, go to the MS webiste for Arizona Walk on Wildside to Tammy’s website and donate some $$$ and walk with us in April at the Walk! And whatever you do, do not miss America’s Cutest Puppy contest on WE TV (go to thier website to get the channel in your area) and watch me staring in April. I will be in the Phoenix regional contest, and who knows…maybe in the finale in June.
Who I'd like to meet:
From Bunker: “Okay I am a little young to have a girlfriend, but a guy can still look, my owner hardly let’s me look right now. But in a few months I am allowed to have girlfriends, although you’ll have to contact Tammy about that. However, she is picky who I might breed with, so call her and let’s see if we can have some more little Bunkers running around. I am a AKC Registered Miniature Bull Terrier, and in June will be ready for my first girlfriend. ::pant, drool:: From Tammy: Please call me at 480-226-9202 if you are interested in breeding to Bunker. Only will accept a limited number of breedings due to Bunker’s schedule. Details concerning fees can be discussed at that time.
