Born Amos Dewayne Evans Jr in Palatka, FL, 1991.
Bugzy Evans' started childhood surrounded by musically inspired family members. His father was a rapper with a buzz around the Palatka-St. Augustine regions. Growing up he was always at his grandmother's where he would wonder why his uncle always played loud beats in his room, closed off from the rest of the world. In 2008 at the age of 16, Evans finally started rapping himself, gaining the acknowledgement of his uncle. Following graduation in 2010 at Eastside High School (Gainesville), Evans attended classes at Santa Fe College under a Journalism major. It was there he became acquainted with a friend who eventually gave him the name Bugsy, from which was changed "Bugzy". He would then transfer schools at Full Sail University in Winter Park during the fall semester of 2011, enlisted in online classes due to lack of transportation at the time of enrollment. Upon learning how to use his macbook pro and professional recording equipment, Bugzy Evans was able to drop his experimental mixtape "I Ain't Friendly" on datpiff.com. Following the small success of tape, Evans continued his journey as an artist, developing his own image and style while working on "Shut Up and Listen!" as well as "SIN-Sored" in 2013. Post the release of the two projects, Bugzy Evans reformed Marvel Music/SpideyGang Records (formerly "Spidey Gang Records" from 2008 until February 2013) completely as an independent label.
