Brother Ron's Interests

| General | Oh my interest vary greatly. I like to read and write. I also play guitar and have been writting songs for many years. I still love to play and I have to tell you, having a crowd of strangers enjoy my music, is a feeling like I can not describe. My interests have changed as I have grown older, and I hope a little wiser, my family is the greatest blessing in my life. But mostly my favorite hobby is helping people. I have been talking to chritians and sinners on yahoo chat for years. Some I hope I have helped to feel better about who they are. | | Music | Music hot dang. I love music. I am an old hippe from the 70's that has been in rock n roll bands since I was 12. I have played in front of very small intimate groups, and I have played in front of thousands. I like all types of music, as long as the song as some kind of message that touches someone. The best group ever has to be the Beatles. But if it is music I will listen and if it is good, I will like it, I will also appriciate any music for what it is. A gift from God to all who can preform. I like it all. | | Movies | Man oh man I have seen so many movies. I have a hobby of sorts for knowing what my wife calls useless information. I tend to know what actors were in which movies. I am talking all types of movies. My favorite movie of all time has to be "Blazing Saddles" by Mel Brooks. I know every line in that flick and quote it often. Drives my wife crazy, oh well she knew what she was getting when she said yes. | | Television | Well television has come along way in my life time. Remeber life with 3 channels and no remote control. In my house the kids were the remotes. Mom or Pop would say, "boy turn that to channel 4." So looking at it now thinking that my children have never known life without a remote. | | Books | Reading is fundemental. I did not read at all till I was out of school, I mean for pleasure. My favorite secular writer has to be Robert Ludlum, I thing I have read everything he wrote, well all that got published. I also am blessed to have 2 sons that are both published writers and a daughter who has won essay contests for DAR a couple of years in a row. I also have been blessed enough to have some of my writings published. So I would say, "Books, I'm for em." Then I read the Holy Bible and wow. | | Heroes | Everyday people who do extraordanary things. My Pop, God rest his soul, Mom and my wife & kids. Oh and let us not forget my favorite hero Jesus. |

About me:
Hello, my name is Ron Busby and I am an ordained pastor with Universal Life Church. We are a web based ministry. I however take a different approach. I will list thoughts, that I hope will move you, questions that you may have asked yourself, and biblical answers to your questions. I have 3 teenagers that all have myspace pages and I got the idea from them.
I am not the kind of person to shove Jesus and the gospel down your throat. I only speeak and write the truth. God gave you free will, an awsome gift, and if you know it or not you excersie this gift more than you realize. Hopefully we can connect and I can introduce you to the most wonderful friend you can ever have.
You don't have to believe me, agree with me, or even like me, however, you must understand that by reading this site with an open mind, your life could change dramatically.
I wish the best for everyone and I hope that I can be a blessing to you, as I am sure many of you will be a blessing to me. I felt called of the Lord to use myspace to reach people, peole who know that somewhere somehow, there has got to be a reason for this life, and maybe, just maybe, you can find your life's pupose here.

Who I'd like to meet:
Everyone. No I'm serious anyone who wants to drop by. Sinners are welcome. Like Jesus hung out with the sinners, much to the distain of the so called saints, that is where I feel I am needed most. Why you may ask, well that is simple, I to am a sinner. All are really. No one, not one, is worthy. However you can learn of God's wonderful Grace. I can not get to heaven without the Grace of the Lord. Nobody can. So please come visit and let's compare sins. I bet I have out sin you, but please try to tell me about your sin. Togeter we can have some fun. So everybody stop by and lay it on.
