Started stand-up in Sacramento. Moved to San Francisco during the tail end of the early nineties comedy boom. Was a local favorite along with friends Tom Rhodes, Greg Proops and Patton Oswalt. Moved to Los Angeles in 1993 for a second career in TV writing. He wrote and performed on Mr. Show instead. While writing TV and feature films and acting on TV and in films he's still managed to carve out a niche as part of the Los Angeles alternative comedy scene and headline at the good comedy clubs around the country. I am a... I mean... Brian is a regular guest on Conan O'Brien. He's currently part of the Comedians Of Comedy Tour(w/Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and Zach Galiafanakis). The Comedians of Comedy tour was recently documented as a feature film and a show on Comedy Central. Brian recorded his first stand-up CD Nerd Rage this past year. The CD is now available everywhere(even Europe) through RELAPSE RECORDS.

I'm that one guy from TV. I've also been in movies, mostly bad ones. I'm not counting COMEDIANS OF COMEDY, Sarah Silverman's JESUS IS MAGIC or The Devil's Rejects (being involved with that was a horror nerd's dream). Cool people say I'm funny. Just look at my comments. What else?? I like sleeping. Pot makes me high. I've seen more car crashes than most people. I love Skid Row, the band - not the old timey place. I laugh when strangers fall or trip. Too hard. I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse. My dog Ernie is funny. I love sandwiches, I think they're good. If I were a stuntman I'd bash fake bottles against my head all the time, even when I wasn't working. I saw a monkey break the tire swing in his cage and he picked up a giant bolt and winged it out of his cage. It could've fucking killed somebody. Hey Brian, Its the Stromboli dude that called you in Studio at KWOD. If you look at the bottom right corner of my friends list you'll see the icon for my internet show that I do here in Sac. I previously worked for the stations there and even though Rubin doesn't know me, everyone else there does. Anyway, just wanted to see if in the future there might be a chance for us to a phone in interview? Our show is broadcast out of KSSU Sac State's radio station but again, its all primarily through the web. No terrestrial signal. We have the big time love for the REAL METAL and you can even hear our little segs we got cued up in our player on our shows page.
