Brenda was Toronto’s Aboriginal Businesswoman of the Year for 2007 and has spent over 7 months as MYSPACE 1 unsigned Canadian Artist in Roots & Neo Soul as of January 2, 2008. She was nominated for BEST HAND DRUM CD with the Aboriginal People’s Choice Awards 2007.
The Juno award-winning singer led Spirit Wind hand drum toward a Canadian Independent Music Award nomination in 2003, and a Top 10 spot on CFBX FM in Kamloops, before going solo in 2005.
