You know what you need? A promotional photo where you're sitting full-lotus, levitating, promising enlightenment in a single weekend all for the low price of $1,000. John disagrees with me, but just ignore him--he can't levitate yet. Tyler
Thanks for the add man. I'm 4 chapters into your first book and its awesome so far. I told some people to check it out at Wizard World and Flashback weekend horror con in Chicago yesterday
Thanks Brad! I'm really looking forward to learning from your wisdom and years of experience... Hope you have a great weekend and all is well in your life! - Ron
Hi, thanks a lot for the add. And thank you for sharing your insights, I appreciate your writings and lectures (well, the stuff on youtube) very much. Some clarity in an ocean of pseudo-spiritual zig-zag-confusion. (Ha!) So, I wish you a wonderful summer. Regards, M.
The emperor asked Bodhidharma, "What is the highest meaning of noble truth?" Bodhidharma answered, "There is no noble truth." The emperor then asked Bodhidharma, "Who is standing before me?" Bodhidharma answered, "I don't know. "
Dude, I just want to give you a ton of thanks for your newest book. First of all, I haven't read a book in years bc I feel like I don't have the time or the attention span. I was highly recommended Sit Down and Shut Up..." and would like to say that it made a very heavy impact on my life. It was an awesome read and an awesome experience. I still would love to read Hardcore Zen after I finish my current book by Noah Levine. You're great. :)
Thanks for the add. Isn't this like totally weird? I'll bet you never thooght you'd get an email from me. lol. Hey, I thought monks were supposed to celibate...lmfao. Yea, I swear a wicked lot but hey, I don't drink alcohol. (That's gotta count for something.) Did you know that I used to be a monk too? Check out my pics of me with a shaven head. ROFL. Oh. Have you read "The Tao of Pooh?" I haven't..it's just sitting on my shelf at home, since I went to that hippie college in Vermont called Goddard, back in 1992-93. Now, that's a fucked up school. lol. Is it too much to ask for girls to wear make-up? I was the ONLY one...God! I mean, Buddha. ;)
For all the bleeding distractions, there are some matters reminding a soul that not all experiences are of a material triviality, in extent. There is a soul; there is something more fundamental than than all the ego masks of modern contrivance, and there is dharma evident through all things.
How rarely is the wind recognized, by man, for that it blows through, but the birds are moved by it and through it, and the water is sent to ripple by its invisible sway.
