In the summer of 2003 BOOM PAM started gaining popularity in the Tel Aviv music scene, playing at night clubs and parties. The band consists of two electric guitars, a tuba and drums. BOOM PAMs original music and arrangements of Balkan, Jewish, Greek and Mediterranean songs, seasoned with dueling guitars and a rock attitude, brought the crowds to the centre of the dance floor and gave their live shows the atmosphere of an alcohol soaked wedding party.
Their cover version of the Greek hit Boom Pam (which was a major hit in 1969 for the late Aris San- a famous greek singer who immigrated to Israel and was one of the first to use electric guitar in a Greek music setting), recorded with Berry Sakharof, one of Israels leading rock stars, became a mega hit, ranking high on the charts.
A blend of local success and enthusiastic media coverage brought BOOM PAM to perform in Europes finest venues, including the Berlin Opera House and the Schauspiel in Frankfurt, alongside D.J. Shantel at Bucovina Club parties.
BOOM PAM has played at the Tel Aviv Symphony Hall as opening act for the "Minimal Compact" reunion, the "Non Smoking Orchestra" of Emir Kusturica and the "Gypsy Kings". They have also collaborated with the Bat Sheva dance ensemble, performed at Zurich, Cologne, the Frankfurt Museum Festival and Mikonos.
BOOM PAM continues to play at weddings, parties and night clubs throughout the country, and presents an original, exciting alternative without compromising musical qualities and artistic integrity.

'The Golden Hour' will be released April 4 2008 in EU, but it's streaming from our MySpace page right now.
