About me: On January 22nd 2007 Dave Cornthwaite completed the second of two epic long distance skates, just 22 months after stepping onto a longboard for the first time.
The combined distance of his record breaking length of Britain warm-up and trans Australian push from Perth to Brisbane totalled 7253km, and lead to the BoardFree team raising almost £20,000 for the charities Link Community Development, Sailability Australia and the Lowe Syndrome Trust.
BoardFree is now a central hub encouraging and advising people wanting to embark on long distance skateboard journeys in aid of charity. Please visit www.boardfree.co.uk for more information.
