Influences
Vincent Beaulne
Born in Montreal Vincent Beaulne has been touched by blues and jazz at an early age. He became a professional musician at age sixteen. Extensive touring with artists from Quebec had him perform all over Canada, the U.S. and France. Years of studying composition (Concordia University) prepared him for projects in theatre, cinema and children opera as a composer and a producer . He is also a seasoned music teacher , choir and orchestra director.
Now he is back to his roots, playing blues for new audiences in and around Montreal. He sings and plays acoustic guitar, dobro, mandolin and harmonica. He leads Blues Delight a major Blues band in Montreal. Canada.
Skip James, Sleepy John Estes, Muddy Waters, Bessie Smith, Jimmy Reed are a few of the blues artists that influenced him.

Top professionals from the Montreal International Jazz Festival blues scene joined forces yesterday with a team of unknown songwriters to highjack a mystery train from Chicago to Mexico. Police say these renegade artists are known as the
Blues Delight Gang and are all highly dangerous people, living only for freedom and the revival of an ancient escape route called
the Rock Island Line.
Rumor has it that the Blues Delight Band also secured strong ties with legendary blues rebels Nanette Workman and Bob Walsh…"
