How We Started
Family Video was started by Charles Hoogland in 1978. Mr. Hoogland inherited Midstates Appliance and Supply Co., the predecessor to Family Video, from his father, Clarence Hoogland who started the company in 1946. In the 1970s, Midstates Appliance literally got stuck with a large quantity of videos. It was suggested that they rent the videos, and the Video Movie Club of Springfield was born. The Video Movie Club was one of the very first video rental stores in the country and had no competition. The Club charged $25 to gain membership and $5 to rent a movie for three nights. The Family Video chain of stores evolved from this club
Family Video Today
We are the largest privately owned movie and game rentailer in the United States and the third largest overall. Family Video employs over 4,000 people across 14 states, with over 500 stores.

At Perfect Tan, we realize your number one concern is sanitation. You will never be responsible for the sanitation of your tanning system. You will also be personally escorted to your tanning room by a Consultant to verify the cleanliness of your system. This is to ensure the quality of each tanning experience.
Knowledge
At Perfect Tan, we strive to make each visit a positive and enjoyable experience. We hope to not only meet, but exceed your expectations.
With each visit, a tanning Consultant will take a personal interest in your tanning progress. You will be asked: How is your tan progressing?
Is the color you're receiving what you expected?
Are you getting as dark as you would like?
We will also review your tanning history and ask you about your goals. We will consult with you on how to achieve the Perfect Tan you desire.
