Who I'd like to meet: Other Blue Collar Conservatives who are ready to take action and make our voices heard! There has been a misconception that you must be Republican in order to be classified as conservative, not true! There are conservative Libertarians, Democrats, and Independents too! We welcome all people who want to research the issues we hold dear, from all political parties and all social backgrounds. We will endorse candidates based on their positions on the issues outlined in our Mission Statement, not based on party affiliation.
Blue Collar Conservatives is a political club that meets to discuss issues that we the blue collar folks hold dear. As a club, we are developing nationwide chapters, so feel free to contact us to form a chapter in your city or to find an existing chapter near you! Chapters meet in bars, restaurants, public parks, gun ranges or private homes for regular meetings and social events. Chapters will vote at these meetings on local candidate endorsements, and on the support of local ballot measures/propositions, not to mention having a good time and making new friends with common interests and values! Chapters also send their chapter endorsements into the National Blue Collar Conservative Board regarding National candidates and issues, which will then be tallied with all other Chapters results for a National BCC endorsement. The National Blue Collar Conservative Club is currently organizing an annual campout for BCC members and their families. This will serve as a National Blue Collar Convention where we will have lectures, voting for National BCC offices, and some good old fun, like hiking and fishing!
I’m thinking of giving up on all this political stuff and pursuing a career in music instead. Give the demo tape a minute to load and let me know if I could be the next American Idol!
I am sending this same message to everyone on my “Friends” list. If it doesn’t apply to you, please accept my apologies, and let me know that I sent it to you by mistake. What was just a hope on my part a year ago has come to pass, Mayor Lou Barletta is running for Congress. Between my blog and here on MySpace I have spent hundreds of hours, not to mention a bit of money, to help insure that he gets elected. And I’ve tried to be selective here on MySpace, only adding friends who feel as I do about illegal immigration. I’m sorry to say this, but I came here to accomplish a purpose, And that’s all I’m focused on. I know I’m going to alienate some people with this statement, but now is the time to see who talks the talk and who walks the walk. Lou is running as a Republican against a 12 term Democrat Congressman in a district where Democrats outnumber Republicans. And we have to start electing people to Congress who do more than talk the talk. No matter where you live, you can help. Or you can get used to seeing the Mexican flag flying above the Stars and Stripes much more often. And I don’t give a damn, I’m not learning Spanish. I’m not asking anyone to give up his or her day job, I don’t expect Mayor Lou’s campaign to become the focus of you life 24/7, and I’m not asking for money. What I’m asking is this: If illegal immigration truly concerns you, if you realize that the only way to start to solve this crisis is to elect people like Lou, then respond to this message and let me know you’re on board. You CAN help, and together we can make a difference.
While we support the USMC 100% to the hilt....PLEASE do not let the BLM sell away PUBLIC LANDS to them in Johnson Valley! We will lose our access to our Publics Lands!
