Blitz Freestyle Productions is an entertainment/ educational company in Austin, Texas. Continuing the groundbreaking work of Hip Hop Dance, Blitz has established relationships with schools, dance studios, individuals, and businesses to cultivate hip hop culture in the U.S.
When it comes to Blitz's skills on the mic, this is no "two turntables and a microphone" story. Blitz worked his way up through the trenches of the Austin Hip Hop scene. Blitz became immersed in the hip hop sound over a 16 year period, translating that sound into a unique physical expression that demanded world exposure. His big break came at 22 when his crew won first place in the US in an international Hip Hop competition. He went on to place third world wide at the finals in Japan. At 23, after touring internationally, Blitz began to translate his phsical expression BACK to the medium of sound. His style: the lyrics "break" to the beat!
