| About Black Pharaohs |
The brothers behind Stealthsonic and 2 Bone Giants fell in love with the more glitchy and experimental side of electronic music. So they decided to take a left turn from the mainstream and built an apparat to represent their new passion... This apparat is one with flexible functions, and its sound is as eclectic as its musical horizon is broad. Its emotional chip features an option on happiness and its sound waves are able to tear your heart apart. What separates Black Pharaohs from the rest of the rapidly proliferating "electronica" movement is a notorious lack of convention. Each of their tracks is a pristine moment, unpredictable and full of risk. Listening to Black Pharaohs equals navigating foreign territory; each turn is a new moment of discovery. Rhythms, loops, and samples of breathing and crayfish neural tissue are coupled with keyboards and acoustic instruments, resulting in lush explorations of the implicit potential of sound found in household objects and consumer products. The brothers produce hypnotic and beautiful downtempo and harsh, fastpaced insane electronica from the deepest and most ureachable sectors of the human mind and heart. They tend to venture further than anyone has ever thought possible to proceed... And they return with tales of amazing journeys, straight jackets and fireflies, love and hate, life and death, psychosis and nirvana. But they don't speak of all this, no... They just turn on the apparat and let the buttons, clicks, blips and glitches do the talking. And those who stick around to the very end of the tale, leave wiser men...
