Influences
Most bands we dig play experimental, noisy sorts of guitar rock. Some are no wave, punk, folk, country, blues, sludge, doom, heavy metal, hardcore, (modern) classic and pop.

Books: A lot of natural science, biology and education; some years ago it was a lot of prose, philosophy and religion, "The Dirt" autobiography of Moetley Crue, "I'm A Lebowski, You're a Lebowski" telling almost everything about the film, Lemmy's autobiography "White Line Fever", The Melvins bible "Neither Here Nor There
We are also influenced by playing soccer and loving Schalke 04, the German soccer champion 2009.

Sounds Like
Black Band is singer/songwriter stuff - and sounds of birds, woods, crickets, rain, distorted, cracking guitars, heavy feedbacking amps aching under one single long drone doom chord and people making love or faking it. It's like lying with someone in warm soft grass at the edge of a big wood of huge dark green trees close to an abandoned graveyard in the after-shocks of an earthquake, beneath rain and sunshine. Ever been to the happiest place on earth, San Diego?

Hey Christian, Sorry for the late response! I dont check myspace very often. How is everything with you? Apartment hunting is proving difficult. Its kind of at a standstill at the moment. I have been so busy working I havent really had them time to respond some emails but i do have some options which is nice. Hopefully they'll still be available when I get to berlin.
