Born in 2004 on a ferry ride to Vancouver, Mama Miche & Kenzie Clarke have since been bringing the Bitchin' sound to venues all along the West Coast of Canada and around the World. Having touched down in the UK for Glade Festival 2006 as well as graced stages in Spain, The Caymen Islands, Miami, Vegas and Honolulu – these ladies know how to throw it down. Connecting in Victoria BC with individual DJ careers well underway (over 16 years experience shared between them) the union of Miche's funky breakbeats and Kenzie's harder techy styles was the perfect infusion to demolish dancefloors everywhere and create something that was truly Bitchin' Even with the girls now living in separate cities in Canada, Kenzie in Victoria and Miche in Calgary – the sound remains the same. Through Miche's booking agency Mother's Cupboard, both women DJ and promote regular club events with the industries leading Artist's, tour regularly and hold a weekly show on NSB Radio out of the UK every Sunday. These women also boast a much in demand residency at Canada’s famed Shambhala Music Festival and anticipate this year’s 10th anniversary of the gathering to be an epic event. With Miche focusing on the business side of the industry managing tours and bookings for many top breakbeat and electro house Artist’s, Kenzie can be found in the studio creating the Bitchin’ sound alongside top producers. The combination is a powerful explosion of beats and bass with grit, style and grace.
