Metalhead is a popular term for a devoted fan of heavy metal music and is often used interchangeably with the term "headbanger"
The term "headbanger" was coined on Led Zeppelin's first US tour in 1968. During a show at the Boston Tea Party, audience members in the first row were banging their heads against the stage in rhythm with the music. Lemmy from Motörhead said in an interview on the documentary The Decline of Western Civilization II: The Metal Years, that the term "Headbanger" may have originated in the band's name, as in "Motorheadbanger".
MUSIC FLOWS FROM THE STRING OF GREAT SOULS. AS MEN FALL THERE STORIES STAY BEHIND WITH IN SONGS. ONE SONG CAN CHANGE THE WORLDS VIEW ON EVERYTHING. WITHOUT THE POWER AND LOVE FOR MUSIC WARS WOULD BE LOST AND WARRIORS WOULD BE FOR GOTTEN BY Robert Hunter *USMC* (AWAKE)
