According to astrologists and numerous country songs, this means even the best-laid plans can fall apart, so you'll need to make an extra strong commitment to come. My suggestion would be to write it in your datebook in blood. I have other handy tips too.
I think George Jones said it best when he sang, "Mercury retrogrades are a time for completions, especially if the planet is making key contacts in your natal chart and the jukebox ain't workin'." (From The Honky-Tonkin' Astrologer).
We're the first band, starting around 9. Hope to see you there. Chris
Come celebrate June 6 with Montana Slim, Spindrift and Crooked Roads at the Hotel Utah in SF this Wednesday.
Share your memories of June 6ths gone by--the lack of gifts, the absence of fireworks, the dearth of huge meals with visiting relatives.
We'll be celebrating this blessed day by debuting our new line-up which includes guitar virtuoso Larry Otis, who played with Commander Cody's Billy C. Farlow among many others, and pedal steel ace Peter Siegel.
If you've seen us before, we're even better now. (But don't wait for a later show, reasoning that we'll be even better then, because what if we're peaking right now?)
Hey there, I hope you have a great weekend...Now go have some fun! If you happen to be in LA Friday June 1st check out this show. Love to see ya there.
