I believe that finding your soul mate isn't about sameness it's about the opposites, wherever you are weak - they are strong, wherever they are weak - you are strong. So that together you create something greater than yourselves, the two do not become one but become something more individually and add that new strength to the equasion. There is also that theory that through loving enough to compromise, compromising enough to grow, and growing enough to love even more, you actually create your soulmate of the person you are with.
