Benita Charles is a singer/songwriter/producer who resides in Harlem, NY. She's appeared at various clubs in the New York tri-state area including Kavehaz, Kenny's Castaways, Downtime, Club Speed, Alphabet Lounge, Upstairs at Rose's Turn, Nell's and the Beacon Theater. In addition to performing in a wide variety of projects in the entertainment industry, Benita has created her own productions: a one-women show called, "Moments In Love," in Greenwich Village, New York; and cabaret shows: "The Benita Charles Show," The Benita Charles Variety Show (The Gift) and Benita Charles & Friends: In Remembrance of Sept 11. at the Triad Theater on the upper west side which has grown into an annual event for September Concert. Her debut CD, Moments In Love Volume 1 is now available on CD Baby and iTunes.
My brother's group just serviced their single to radio, and it was apparently played on the biggest Hip Hop station in DC last weekend (95.5 WPGC) but NO ONE TOLD THEM!!! I am just finding out about it, and they're doing a vote to see whose song gets played again next week.
