The Bell Street Café is the premier venue for Gypsy Jazz, Manouche and Django Reinhardt related music in the South West of England and is fast becoming THE PLACE to go for live music, superb food, amazing atmosphere and memorable experiences.
Every Thursday there is Gypsy Jazz with Richard de'Cesare, Pete Nicholson and Jipe Gerardin form Petites Annonces - tapas, a beer and great music - free well the music is anyway
The Café also hosts other genres of accoustic music although jazz biased. The style of the venue is 'Rustic Chic' with the timeless feel of a French Café. The interior of the Café has a lively, vibrant and colourful ambience. There is a private hidden garden - very green - at the rear of the Café which is accessed through a fig filled Conservatory.
Theme and Live Music evenings are held throughout the year celebrating notable dates, events, culinary rendevous or introductions to new gastronomic pleasures from around the world with an emphasis on European cuisine.
All food is cooked freshly on the premises using local and mainly organic producers - there will never be a 3663 or Brake Bros lorry outside this Café.
The Café is fully licensed and has an exellent wine list as well as an interesting range of bottled beers.
Nicola & Ben look forward to welcoming you - à bientôt.
