Bell, Book & Comic's co-owners are Peter Bell and Betsey Pryor. Peter has been a comic book collector & avid gamer for years. He's worked in comic book stores for over 13 years. He's the man in the know. And Betsey's, well Betsey's learning. But she does the books, bills, computer stuff, feeds & cleans up after the cat & generally tries to keep things sailing as smoothly as possible. And speaking of the cat, check out the pic of Piewacket. She was named after the cat in Bell, Book & Candle, the movie whose title inspired the name of the store.

The gtreatest thing about Bell Book & Comic isn't the Comics.(they are great to, don't get me wrong)Its the people. Not only are they there for you as a supplier, they not only treat you as a customer, but as a friend. They are interested in you as a person. Unlike other places I have been, they care about you more than the money you are willing to shell out. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT AND I REALLY AM GREATFUL FOR YOU BEING THERE IN THE TIME OF NEED. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!! HULK SMASH!!!!!!
I was happy to read the following quote in Sinclair College's newspaper, The Clarion, by the FEMALE instructor of the summer course, "Popular Culture: Comic books."
"I feel especially since it is a male dominated industry, that being a female, it may be a challenge to teach it... there is a misconception that girls that read comic books are socially inept or they have no personality. The comic book store I go to [Bell Book and Comic] is one of the only stores in the Miami Valley where I am not treated weird because I am a girl...some stores I walk into, and they're like, 'Oh, what are you looking for, your boyfriend?'
