We've played with such venerable groups as: The Pietasters and King Django.
An energetic gang of 8 sonic marauders, who roam the countryside playing epic ska punk. Some may think we're crazy, but in actuality we're an approachable bunch, looking to help people celebrate living and get a little rambunctious. More than just your typical jerkbag rockstars (of some shape or size), the lively gentlemen of Behind Bad Luck! are your quirky friends, there to skank by your side.
Based out of the frigid north country State University of New York at Potsdam, Behind Bad Luck! brings a high energy sound, nostalgic for the good old days of ska, all while still rocking a modern organic injection of their own character. The content is outrageous, the stage antics are playful, and the feeling whenever they play is joyous. These balls are backed up by their "normal life" where all the members focus on "honing the awesome" through their studies at the Crane School of Music. Behind Bad Luck! is here to bring that much anticipated "5th Wave" of the genre in smashing form!
PARTY WITH US! We play parties, we play nightclubs, we drink your wine at weddings and bar mitzvahs (mazel tov), we play in the street when we need gas money to gig - we're confident that you'll enjoy us!
Hear ye, hear ye friends. Calling all ye faithful and faithless, the Big Hand debut album is finally here and set to dazzle upon the main stage of life! Yes, its set for release, and its gonna blow your socks off.........
............ 14 tracks of the finest sparkling soulful zorbic ska ever heard for just ten little pounds, just a click to the left there. Get yourselves the remedy for the April showers, reach out through the ether and get yourself one today. Go on, you know you want to!
hey everyone sorry for the long wait. we are for sure on the may 29th gig at Downtown Manhattans in Syracuse! it is the last Thursday of the month. the time of the show is 6:30. in order to go you must buy tickets. so make sure to see one of the 3 members (david harold, ron Mcquaid, chris fuqua). Pre-sale tickets are $8 each. so see us as soon as possible to purchase them if you want to go. if you miss the chance not to worry. they sell tickets at the door for a little bit more. we appreciate your patience, patronage, and encouragment through our early days of band development more than we can express.
P.S. we only have a few more things to do for the CD and that too will soon be out for a purchase of 8$
I'm just stopping by hoping things are good your way, and to let you know that I have 6 new instrumentals up. Check 'em out when you get some free time!
