Beatrice Deer released first her 1st album in May 2004. Recorded at Kuujjuaq's Qimuk Studio owned by William Tagoona. Album won the first "best Inuit cultural album of the year" at the Aboriginal Music Awards in November 2005, in Toronto. Song composer and guitarist : Charles Keelan. Guitarist: Johnny Kokkinerk. Beatrice Deer travels to other towns near by to perform for festivals and events quite a bit. Has gone to Yukon to perform at the Annual True North Conert, that airs on radio all over Canada. In the summer of 2006, performed on National Aboriginal Day in Ottawa. Just finished recording her 2nd album on July 15, which should be out and ready in a few months.

Hi there Beatrice Deer first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.

Tracy Bone received nominations for Best New Artist, Single of the Year, Best Songwriter, Best Album Cover Design and Best Country CD at last year’s Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards. It's 3:22am and I'm finishing your show. OMG!!! It's been an emotional ride. I was worried it would suck & that you guys wouldn't like it & then never talk to me again. LOL. I'm glad to say it's gonna make it to APTN on time and I'm very proud of the show I've done. Holy crap my eyes are burning. Lotsa coffee & worrying has left me week & shakey. I need a vacation. My new house is awesome. Can't wait for you guys to visit.
