Mostly I ignore the present to think about the future. Or vice-versa. I enjoy picnics. I love to harmonize with the gals of SV. I am often boring. Streetscapes and sustainability rock. I used to loath t-shirts. When I grow up I have wanted to be (in chronological order): an artist, a hotelier, a fashion designer, a professional gift wrapper, a chef, an architect, a southern gentleman, a land baron, a heavy-handed philanthropist, a jet-setter, royalty, mayor, a reporter, a linguist, a poet, bohemian, a violist, cool, an urban planner, an artist again, a band front person, an anthropologist, a gift-warp/sandwich shop owner, and an urban planner again, then an environmentalist, now a multilingual environmentalist urban planner.
