BARRY BENNETT is an artist interested duality and truth. He is a native of Arkansas, holds a BFA in performance, and resides in Chicagoland. He has had his theatre and dance scores heard as far away as Salzburg and as near as the seat in which you are sitting. This group of folks would include Chicago Dramatists (where he is an associate artist), The Aardvark, Steppenwolf, National Pastime, PROP THTR, The Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Moving Company, Estrogen Fest, Writer’s Theatre, Asimina Chremos, Cindy Brandle Dance Company, Heartz & Bonies, Flush Puppy, OL Korean Dance, Terrapin Theatre, and others . By day he is a modern dance accompanist and he has been Composer in Residence for the Chicago Moving Company for the past 7 years. In addition to his scores for performance with CMC, his has done numerous outreach programs and residencies with the company. He is the founder of the art rock ensemble, MiLkBabY ( http://milkbaby.net. ), which recently released it‘s 5th album on Uvulittle Records ( http://uvulittle.com ). He is also the drummer for the Balkan rock group, BombBonE, in addition to performing regularly with a wide array of groups in various capacities in the Chicago area. Barry believes that despite appearances, YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
