4 guys, beer and love for great music; Bad Fuel was born! We started out appr. januari 2005 after a jamparty. The topic was old school of british heavy metal. after we played some Iron Maiden, Ozzy en Priest stuff we sat down enjoying some beers and decided we should be a band. Benn and The LAVA Man were already involved in another band, but that band died pretty much the same day; so we decided to give it a try. The band 's name relates to the fact that beer, even though it tastes great(if consumed in large portions!) it always leaves you in despair... so, eventhough it could be the right fuel; afterworth the conclusion in your head is...... BAD fuel
From the beginning it was just the four of us and the line- up never changed. Which is pretty cool, I think; cus we truly are very good friends, who love to make the same kind of music. We conciddered a few times to add a second guitar player to the band, but that just doesn't feel right. It really feels like; it's us, we are Bad Fuel... what is the true advantage of an extra person... Well we couldn't think of any, so it's just us; four dudes one Bad Fuel.
