To be honest, way too many to count. Basically anyone who has applied themselves passionately to their instrument, The kind of players that when you listen to them you can just feel the passion reeking off the instrument. Like my dad, he is one of the best musicians I've ever heard, and Im not being bias.. lol But here are a few more of my influences; My Grandfather, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Steve Lukather, Larry Carlton, George Benson, John Mayer, Dann Huff, Brent Mason, Peter Framton, Eric Clapton and a whole lot more.. lol
Hey man, glad to have you yesterday at the studio. Good music on your page. So here's where all the good instrumentals have gone. You're keeping them all.
It's pretty cool. It's colder than Houston even though it's only 3 hours away and it's prettier. Amy's real excited. I'm either going to Amy's or Sharon's tomorrow night to watch a movie. I miss all of us watching movies. :(
Good Good I'm playing with a girl named AMY HUGHES. She's a 'TexasFusion' artist; just imagine a lovechild between Jewel and Janis Joplin in a 5'0" package. She is awesome, you'll find her on my page. It's not me playing on the recordings, but we'll be recording a full length album within the next year. -I never thought I'd have this much fun playing Texas Country/Rock/Folk...or whatever you'd like to call it. Hey Man! Still here @ FireHouse Music teaching/doing retail. Still traveling out to Kemah every week to teach as well. Nothing has really changed, other than the fact that I have a new car (Thank God!) ...Still considering teaching?
I went to the Tammy Kirkland album release. Your dad played on that album, as a matter of fact they showed a video of the recording there tonight and he was in it.
Hey dude, Thanks for the request. I had a great time this weekend with you and your Dad in the studio. You guys are reaking with talent. Nice to make the connection.
