General
Writing and performing christian rock music. Bass fishing from my Champion boat. Collecting guns, knives, and guitars. Hunting, and maintaining my land for wildlife in central Texas. As a rule, I'd rather be outdoors, and fishing!

I love classic rock, metal, and new Christian contemporary. I was a Ted Nugent freak in high school, and still enjoy his stuff. I have to say that as a child, I was moved to pick up the guitar by Johnny Cash at the age of six. At twelve years of age I talked my mom into taking me (yes, she went with me) to see Savoy Brown with headliner Deep Purple. Lets just say I was never the same. Richie Blackmore blew me away, and I started on my way to learning how to solo. Today, I can say I was influenced by guitarists such as Pat Travers, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Joe Walsh, HENDRIX, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Lynch, DIME, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Brian May, Mark Tremonti, Vinnie Moore, Joe Perry, Alex Lifeson, Steve Howe, Stevie Blaze, Pat Thrall, Al Dimeola, Eric Johnson, Billy Gibbons, EDDIE(VH), Angus Young, ULI JON ROTH, Rudolph & Michael [Schenker], Frank Zappa, KK Downing, Glenn Tipton, Marty Friedman, Steve Morse, David Gilmour, BLACKMORE, and of course, TED. All of these guys, and many I didn't list, Demonstrated diverse facets of what can be done with the guitar, in their specific genres. I have broadened my musical horizons over the years, and though I am more tolerant, still like cooking with Marshall tubes and hot humbuckers when given a choice. The only difference is, Now I do it for GOD.

Since 24 didn't make a return this year, I don't watch much TV. Prison Break is great, New Amsterdam was neat for a few weeks, CSI is good when I have nothing to do(which is seldom). I need 24 to come back next year--BADLY!!!
Books
Do magazines count? Bassmaster, Guitar Player, Guitar World, Shooting Times, Guns and Ammo, American Rifleman, and the one book that does count, the BIBLE!!!!!!!
Heroes
JESUS for dying for my sins. My dad. and on a lighter note, Steve Vai, for showing me what is possible for someone else on the guitar. NOTE-Lately I have felt the need to say to our service men and women, that you are all heroes. Unfortunately, the road to freedom is Stained with the blood of PATRIOTS. God Bless YOU one and ALL!

About me: NEW SONG UP!!!..... I am the founding member(along with my wife) of E N D U R I N G .. H O U S E a Christian Rock band. This site is mainly an extension of that site for those who may know me but not my band. I am an occupational therapist by day, I praise GOD in music with our Worship Team at my church, and a tournament bass fisherman in my spare time. I will be building this site with band demos, equipment particulars for the guitarist, and photos of my rigs( both musical and fishing!)with some details as time permits. I, like this am a work in progress, so be patient. Oh I almost forgot, If you really want to know me, Where I've been to get where I am now, go to MY PICS and look around. I didn't do to hot today...boooo. I had a new partner to fish with & we have never fished together before. Its hard to fish with someone who isn't as focused as you are. oh well, Maybe I will get someone better next time around. Well I still got to fish wright? lol

The world can no longer see Jesus Christ in person, It can only see Jesus Christ in us through our behavior & actions. We are the only Bible some we meet will get to read. We can preach the gospel for all we are worth, yet if we do not exhibit Christ likeness in our lives, our words are wasted. When we do our best to walk through life as our savior Jesus Christ did, then them who would hinder us will find no weak point in our lives to attack. Our light will dispel the darkness of the world and rescue others to the freedom we have in Christ.
