August Zimbal is a well known rock band from Davenport, Iowa. Recently we have reached a level of recognition that has encouraged us to share our music on a level way beyond the local area. Our journey began with the making of this self titled EP which was released earlier this year. The record is a strong, yet delicate blend of our talents and abilities, and has found its way into the hearts and minds of many fans. The band consists of Burnell Eckardt, Nate Hoffman, and Andrew Drayton. Burnell fronts the band with his enthralling voice, and heavy guitar playing. Nate's versatile drumming technique and counter harmonies provide the backbone to the band. Andrew serves the music with his smooth and haunting bass lines. The power trio puts on deeply moving and entertainingly live shows. "August Zimbal" the bands self titled debut EP has renewed an honest cult following as well as appreciation from fellow musicians. With the release of this CD we announce our professional debut. We are now searching for a record label that best suits us. We have a lot of material in our repertoire and are looking forward to recording an album with a label behind it. Currently we are in the process of booking shows throughout 2008 to promote our sound. However we would really to go on tour. Once upon a time, a little speckled rock eventually fell from the top of the universe, and through a thin layer of galvanized top parts before the end of this digital juicebox. Formed after the disaster, three became two, then two became three. Thankfully it's not in the cards for the tower. Sounds grow and now the noise is underfoot and above our sense of reality...still to come...still dark...scream...

im working(dan) third shift at deere here in a few weeks. and ben really wants to do the solo thing for the show...thats what hell keep doing for a while now anyway.
i guess crash and the witness cant do may 10th....so if you guys want to find a third band...well let you take control of the show.....if it ends up that we(boomstick) dont play that show(as we may be on hiatus by then)...then ben will play a solo acoustic set to open the show.
