ABOUT AUDIO TRAFFIC AND ME

Ok, a bit about me and the idea of Audio Traffic…

Born in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom 1984 to a family practically obsessed with music. I was taught very early that music brought you happiness, picked you up from those down times and was an essential ingredient for a young person growing up. Before I knew it I had my very first sound system surrounded by many tapes and many more records. Even in my early years I had a collection that could rival HMV.

Many moons on when my very fragile teenage brain developed and began to think about sex, drugs, alcohol and rock ‘n’ roll, my appetite for music grew and grew stronger and stronger with every year. I noticed I liked many styles, many artists, my mix tape stock pile and CD collection expanded to the size of, well I don’t know but it was big that’s for sure. I soon realised that even through my excessive purchasing, more was out there. I then discovered the underground, dingy night spots and rave clubs (I was tall, I got away with being 18) soon I was hooked and even now in my early 20’s I am still hooked.

So where do I go now? Well, where do you think..?

MySpace.com has brought music to new heights it has globalized the unsigned music industry and shown people there’s more out there if you know where to look!

My aim of Audio Traffic is to transfer my passion to one page (this is impossible but I will try) I am going to post new music, pioneering bands, some signed, some unsigned and show you a tiny, tiny peek of the world outside the charts!

Now, obviously you can only listen to one track at a time so you will see I have posted videos, artwork, web links and more just so your eyes don’t think only your ear’s are having all the fun. Hope you enjoy! And don’t forget to message me with new stuff! I’ll be more than happy to post it! Well, as long as it’s good!
